Does DontLookDesign accept commissions?

Does DontLookDesign ship internationally?

Commissions can be shipped internationally. I will use the Post Office for smaller items and courier for larger items.  Free postage to UK and varied prices for international delivery.

How long does shipping take?

Artwork, furniture or lighting purchased from DontLookDesign will typically be shipped out in 1-5 business days to UK, and International delivery generally takes 2-8 business days. You will receive an email with your tracking number when the artwork has been shipped.

How may I track my shipment?

When your order is shipped by DontLookDesigb, we will issue you with a tracking number if posted in UK or Internationally the courier will message you advising of the progress of shipment.

Can I send my out of date prescription medicine to you for the recycling scheme?

NO. Do not post any expired prescription medication. DontLookDesign only accepts expired or unused OTC (over-the-counter) pills - i.e. Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Fish Oil, etc. DontLookDesign does not accept any prescription medicine, and does not accept any legal responsibility if prescriptions are mailed. What sorts of toys can I send to the recycling program?

Any small plastic toys, dolls, ponies... (NO SOFT TOYS)  instead of binning them and polluting the environment, get them recycled and appreciated again as art.  All postage will be refunded.

What else can I send to DontLookDesign's recycling program?

Old cassette tapes, records, slides, film, old phones...anything not too big from the 80's, 90's or early 2000's - OK with things that are broken or missing pieces.  Dont throw away things that can be upcycled into art.  All postage will be refunded.  Find out more LINK to RECYCLE PAGE

What is DontLookDesign’s returns policy?

Returns are accepted, message me within 14 days of delivery and dispatch items back within 30 days of delivery.  Once items are returned and not damaged then a refund will be issued within 3 working days.  Refunded through original payment method.

Can I collect my goods from you directly?

Yes certainly, my studio is in Hackney East London.  You can contact me and we can arrange this.

What resin is used to make my art / furniture?

Craft Resin is a clear epoxy resin and hardener with a glass-like finish and no yellowing over time.  Their advanced formula is an innovation on the epoxy resin market.

Does yellowing occur?

Craft Resin™ non-yellowing technology is based on usage of museum quality conservation grade materials to ensure its water-clear clarity is preserved for decades. Many resins contain a UV stabiliser to help delay the epoxy's natural yellowing process, however, this alone is not enough to prevent yellowing from happening. Craft Resin™ contains both a UV stabiliser as well as an advanced additive hindered amine light stabiliser that inter- rupts the yellowing process before it can begin. The result is that it stays clear both in the bottle and once cured.

What is the best way to look after resin products?

1. Keep resin products away from direct sunlight
2. Avoid exposing resin crafts to extreme temperatures
3. Clean resin crafts with a soft cloth
4. Avoid using hot water to clean resin products
5. Store resin crafts in a dry place

Is Craft Resin ™ food safe?

Yes, once Craft Resin™ is cured, it is fully inert and can be safely used as a food contact surface. Craft Resint™ has been tested for leaching and migration across worldwide standards and passed all safety tests: when used as directed, cured Craft Resin™ will not leach any substances into food that comes into contact with it.
